Senior Data Engineer at Zerosigma Capital GmbH

We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to build, manage, and maintain a robust data infrastructure (ETL) for collecting vast amounts of financial data. 🪂💻💹

At least 4 years of experience in building ETL and working with the following technologies and tools:

• Python
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• CI/CD
• PostgreSQL
• Apache Airflow
• GitLab
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• ETL
• Excellent Communication Skills

Key Responsibilities and Technologies:

• Implement and manage ETL processes using Python (Pandas).
• Optimize workflows within GCP (Composer, Cloud run …)
• Work with Cloud SQL and PostgreSQL to manage and query large datasets.
• Integrate new data sources and map to existing datasets.
• Develop APIs using FastAPI to enable data access and integration.
• Implement caching solutions using Redis or Memcached.
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.

1. 15-min introductory call where we explain our product vision to see if we align with candidate’s interests.
2. 30-min call with our engineer to explain the backend architecture and to get understanding of candidate’s experience.
3. A paid 2-weeks test task to vet candidate’s skills.
