🔹 About the Role

The National Bank of Belgium plays a key role in maintaining financial stability, ensuring secure payment systems, and delivering trusted economic and financial insights.

As part of the Cash development team (6 people), we are looking for a Senior Power BI & SAP BO Expert to lead reporting transformation initiatives, coach team members, and design high-quality BI solutions. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with mentoring responsibilities, in a context that impacts 12 European countries.

🔹 Mission Scope

• Migration project: Move CashSSP data warehouse to the cloud.

• Reporting project: Convert a large volume of static SAP BO (PDF) reports into dynamic, business-aligned Power BI dashboards.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1. Coaching & Mentoring (50%)

• Guide and mentor developers and business users to improve their Power BI expertise.

• Share best practices in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and report design.

• Foster a collaborative and skill-enhancing environment.

2. Data Modeling & Report Development (50%)

• Design and implement robust semantic models to enable scalable, consistent reporting.

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports meeting complex business requirements.

• Apply data visualization best practices to deliver user-friendly insights.

• Support business users in self-service BI adoption.

🔹 Candidate Profile

• Experience: 6–10 years in BI, with proven expertise in enterprise-scale Power BI projects.

• Technical expertise:

  • Advanced in Power BI (Desktop, Service), DAX, Power Query.

  • Experience in semantic modeling, including Row-Level Security (RLS) in multi-country setups.

  • Familiar with Azure or cloud platforms.

  • Knowledge of SAP BO (WEBI) for analyzing legacy reports.

  • Strong SQL skills.

• Coaching skills: Ability to mentor IT developers and non-technical users.

• Soft skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.

• Languages: French or Dutch (professional working proficiency), English (full professional proficiency).

• Certification: Microsoft Power BI certification is a strong asset.
