Job Overview
▪ Job Title: IT Operations, Automation & System Administrator (m/w/x)
▪ Location: Hamburg, Germany
▪ Remote Work: Hybrid model (2 days per week Home office possible)
▪ Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Contract
▪ Reports to: IT Lead / Head of IT
▪ Language Requirements: German: Minimum C2 level & English B2:
▪ Salary €50,000 – €70,000

Key Responsibilities
1) System Administration & Operations:
▪ Managing and maintaining IT infrastructure (servers, networks, security systems)
▪ Ensuring system stability, scalability, and security
▪ Troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing system performance
2) Automation & Process Optimization
▪ Implementing and maintaining automation tools for IT operations
▪ Developing scripts and workflows to improve efficiency
▪ Monitoring system health and automating issue resolution
3) Security & Compliance
▪ Implementing IT security best practices and protocols
▪ Managing user access, authentication, and security policies
▪ Ensuring compliance with industry regulations
4) Collaboration & Support
▪ Working closely with development, DevOps, and network teams
▪ Supporting internal teams with IT-related issues
▪ Providing technical documentation and knowledge-sharing

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
▪ Experience: ca. 5 years in IT Operations, System Administration, or IT Automation
Technical Expertise:
▪ Strong understanding of system administration (e.g Google Workspace)
▪ Experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS)
▪ Proficiency in process automation & automation tools
▪ Infrastruktur as Code (e.g. Open Tofu, Terraform)
▪ Programming knowledge in Python

Nice-to-Have Skills
▪ Database Knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
▪ CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps tools

Soft Skills:
▪ Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach
▪ Strong communication and collaboration skills
▪ Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
▪ Proactive, structured, and eager to improve IT processe
