Founding AI Engineer at Autoplay

At Autoplay, you will work directly with the founders to build and iterate the first version of our product, focusing on achieving product-market fit through constant iteration. You will be involved in answering key questions such as “What should we build next?” and “What is the minimum viable product we should be developing to quickly excite and provide value to our customers?

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields
• 4+ years experience building and iterating products from 0 to 1
• Experience designing and setting up strong and robust data pipelines
• ⁠Experience designing AI systems

• Experience building with tools like lightning AI, Amazon redbock, vector databases, Langchain, Llama index, multimodals, Rag Pipelines and framework, multi-agentic frameworks,model evaluation, prompt engineering
• Ability to translate machine learning research papers into actionable code and ensure that our product leverages the frontier of AI research
• Ability to eventually build, manage, and scale an engineering team that is strongly integrated with product, sales, and marketing

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with inverse dynamic models and / or inverse reinforcement learning
• Experience in gamification and / or you have a passion for playing video games
• 3+ years experience in deep learning and reinforcement learning (+ human feedback) research

• Work alongside the CEO to determine the minimum viable product (MVP) for our beta users that will add value to our customers quickly, while creating a wow effect for our first batch of users
• Work with the founding team to design our Product Roadmap and determine which features to prioritize
• Pioneer our products System Design for Flexibility while constantly assessing how to keep our architecture agile and be able to adopt new frontier technologies
• Establish a reliable DevOps pipeline and comprehensive testing environment to ensure product quality and efficient deployment
• Constantly be researching and testing new open source code we can use to streamline product building
• Constantly take the initiative to test new machine learning research and translate it into code.
• Help hire other engineers and scale the engineering team
