Position Summary
Our client is seeking to hire a Senior Account Manager based in London to support the company’s strategic transition from a traditional channel sales model to a direct key account approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing major B2B client relationships in the region, driving revenue growth, and promoting the company’s unified communication products to high-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective B2B clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client portfolio.
- Present and promote the company’s unified communication solutions, including IP phones and video conferencing systems, to senior decision-makers.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to align on client needs and project timelines.
- Stay abreast of market developments, competitor activity, and industry trends.
- Represent the company at relevant industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Play a pivotal role in the company’s shift toward a direct sales strategy by penetrating key enterprise accounts.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Proven track record in B2B sales within the telecommunications or unified communications industry.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing large key accounts, including telecom operators, Fortune 500 companies, and state-owned enterprises.
- Strong experience in transitioning from channel sales to direct key account development is essential.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, communications, technology, or a related field.

- Over 5 years of experience in B2B sales of video conferencing products, ideally more than 8 years.
- Strong track record in selling directly to key accounts end-users — not through channels or distributors, and not targeting SMEs. = Key accounts should include large enterprise clients (e.g., Fortune 500 companies) and public sector organizations.
- Proven ability to break into and develop new key accounts from scratch — not just maintain existing relationships.
- Existing resources and network within key accounts are highly valued and considered a strong asset.
